Are You Joining Us to Fight Hunger on the Day of Pentecost?
Next Sunday, June 9 is a special day in the life of our community. The Day of Pentecost marks the coming of the Holy Spirit to the Church. We will have a festive worship service in the morning (one service only at 9:00 am!), and the, that afternoon at 3:00 pm the Episcopal Churches of Berkshire County, along with our friends, will join together to celebrate the Holy Spirit by packaging 20,000 meals for those who are hungry throughout our world. We will also make summer activity bags for local kids who are served by our local food pantries and other charitable programs. This family-friendly event will conclude with a meal for all to celebrate! This event is a part of the ongoing Western Mass Revival, Year Two.
It is a great opportunity for us to join with others who share our values to make the world a better place. I sincerely hope that St. Paul’s will make a good showing. Even if you don’t usually participate in such events, I urge you to join us next Sunday—we need you!
And Have You Brought in Juice Boxes?
As part of this effort, we are asked to provide 240 juice boxes to put in the activity bags. Please help us reach that goal by signing up on the Tower Room bulletin board. Questions? Ask Father Sam.
Collect:
O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
Altar Flowers this week are given in memory of Monika Dillon.
Lee Food Pantry

Summer Worship Schedule
St. Paul’s will have one service only at 9:00 am on Sundays through September 1 (Labor Day Weekend). And (weather permitting) we will worship in the churchyard in the month of July!
Godly Play Takes a Recess!
Godly Play will be on hiatus now through Sunday, June 5, while our Children/Youth Ministry Coordinator, Anne Skakel, is away. As always, children are welcome in Church on those and any Sundays! Anne suggests the children might work on memorizing the Lord’s Prayer, and also experience the service and think of questions they might have. Godly Play will resume on June 9 (when there will be one service only beginning at 9:00 am).
