St. Pauls Church

Welcome!

St. Paul's Church, as illustrated by local artist Norman Rockwell, is located right in the heart of the historic town of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The Church itself was built in 1884, and is rich with a history of its own in the region.

St. Paul's is an active parish and serves the local community through works and worship. All seekers are welcome to join us, either during services, or simply for private meditation and prayer in one of the most beautiful and peaceful old New England Churches.

The Mission of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

We believe in regular worship, the sacraments, and teaching the Word of God through scripture, preaching, education and relationship.

We encourage giving ourselves and our treasure as witness to God’s love.

We welcome all people into our Christian family.

Note that the verbs in this mission statement are active. St. Paul’s is an active congregation in a vibrant community. We are a small but vigorous church whose style is dignified informality and whose openness to reasoned innovation enables us to adapt creatively to changed circumstances and changing needs.

We are all ministers in our own way. Our mission and our ministry are at the core of St. Paul’s.
